Since 2013, Eric has been an important contributing member of the W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative, coproducing Web Accessibility Tutorials and the Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools List. Eric came in touch with the larger accessibility community in 2006 after moving to Vienna to study Media Informatics. Working as a freelancer for larger web agencies, he raised his creative problem solution skills. In 2010 he won the German Accessibility award in Gold with a project carried out by a small community in Essen/Germany. His two-person Web Design and Consulting agency “outline” was co-founded in 2011.
